Hardys Cottage Garden Plants

An independent plant Nursery specialising in herbaceous perennials. Now recognised as one of the UKs leading plantsmens nurseries, stocking over 1,200 plant varieties, including many rare and exciting species - winners of over 20 RHS Chelsea Gold Medals.  They hold lots of talks and seminars during the summer time and are only located approximately 400 meters from our front door. Whitchurch Silk Mill

Only 2.3 miles away you will find the oldest silk mill in the UK still in its original building. A gem of industrial heritage in beautiful, rural Hampshire, Whitchurch Silk Mill is a Georgian water mill that weaves silk using 19th century machinery.

Highclere Castle

7 miles by car and you will find Highclere Castle, or some might know this as Downton Abbey. Designed by Sir Charles B architect of the Houses of Parliament this castle is steeped in history. There is a lot to do and see in Winchester from the Cathedral, one of the largest in Europe, through to the Castle and Great Hall contain King Arthur’s Round Table.
